Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has again called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign, alleging that the administration secretly spent more than ₦8 trillion outside the provisions of the 2026 national budget.
Obi said his latest demand goes beyond his earlier criticism of the President’s leadership, which he previously described as marked by unfulfilled campaign promises, poor governance and economic hardship.
