A heated debate has erupted across the United States after American Congressman Barry Moore introduced a controversial bill that would require immigrants entering the country as religious workers to formally reject Sharia law and pledge allegiance to the US Constitution before being granted entry.
The proposed legislation, known as the CRUSADE Act, was unveiled by the Alabama Republican lawmaker amid growing political tensions in America surrounding immigration, religious freedom and national security.
