A Nigerian cleric, Prophet Ekong Ituen, has made a fresh prediction about the political future of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, saying the former Rivers State governor could eventually become Nigeria’s president or vice president.

Ituen said his prediction was based on what he described as a spiritual revelation rather than conventional political analysis.

In a message shared on social media, the cleric described Wike as an influential figure in Nigerian politics and said he believed the FCT minister could rise to one of the country’s two highest political offices during his lifetime...READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE .

The prediction comes at a time when Wike remains a major figure in Nigeria’s political landscape and continues to attract attention because of his relationship with President Bola Tinubu.

Wike, who remains a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, has openly declared his support for Tinubu’s bid to seek another term in the 2027 presidential election. He has, however, maintained that his support for Tinubu at the presidential level does not mean the PDP should abandon its plans to contest governorship and legislative elections.

His political activities have also generated debate within the ruling All Progressives Congress, particularly because Wike has continued to operate outside the formal structure of the party while mobilising support for Tinubu.

Recent reports have indicated that Wike could be given a defined role in Tinubu’s 2027 campaign, particularly in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory. Such an arrangement would allow him to participate in the campaign without necessarily becoming an APC member.

The former Rivers governor has also maintained that his political focus is on supporting Tinubu for the presidency rather than determining which candidates should win other elections in their respective states.

Ituen’s latest prediction has therefore attracted attention because of Wike’s continued involvement in national politics and his growing visibility ahead of the 2027 election cycle.

The cleric also issued a separate message to Wike, urging him to pay close attention to his health, although he did not provide details about the nature of the warning.

The prediction remains a spiritual claim and does not constitute evidence that Wike will become president or vice president. Nigeria’s presidency and vice presidency are determined through the constitutional electoral process.

For now, Wike remains focused on his role as FCT minister and his political activities ahead of the 2027 elections, while the latest prediction adds another layer to public discussion about his long term political ambitions.
