A former Hollywood actor, Nathan Chasing Horse, best known for his role in the classic film Dances With Wolves, has been sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of multiple sexual assault charges involving Indigenous women and girls, in a case that has drawn global attention and widespread outrage.
The sentencing was delivered by a Nevada court after a jury earlier convicted the 49 year old actor on 13 counts out of 21 charges brought against him.
