Dembele’s rise over the last two seasons has been remarkable, especially considering the injury struggles and inconsistency that once defined parts of his career during his time at FC Barcelona. Since becoming one of the focal points of PSG’s attack, the French international has rediscovered his best form and transformed into a complete attacking force admired across world football.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has delivered outstanding numbers throughout the campaign, finishing among Ligue 1’s top scorers while consistently producing decisive performances in both domestic and European competitions. His speed, creativity, dribbling ability and improved finishing have made him almost unstoppable for defenders this season.

Dembele’s latest achievement also highlights the beginning of a new era at PSG following the departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid CF. Mbappe had dominated the award for five consecutive years before leaving France, but Dembele has now successfully stepped into the spotlight and carried the responsibility of leading the Paris club forward.

His performances have not only earned admiration in France but have also elevated him into conversations surrounding the best footballers in the world. In recent months, Dembele has added several major individual honours to his growing collection, including the FIFA Men’s Player of the Year award after helping PSG secure historic success on multiple fronts.

PSG manager Luis Enrique also enjoyed recognition during the awards ceremony after receiving the Coach of the Year honour for guiding the club through another dominant campaign. Meanwhile, rising PSG youngster Désiré Doué was named the league’s best young player, underlining the club’s growing dominance in French football.

Dembele’s resurgence has become one of football’s most inspiring comeback stories. Once criticised for injuries, inconsistency and lack of discipline, the French forward has now evolved into a mature leader capable of delivering in the biggest moments. Football analysts and fans across Europe have praised his improved professionalism, fitness and decision-making, qualities that have elevated him to elite status.

With PSG still chasing more silverware this season, Dembele’s influence could become even more historic if the French club succeeds in conquering Europe. For now, however, the winger’s latest individual recognition stands as another powerful reminder that he has fully arrived among football’s modern greats.
