Lagos State lawmaker and Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot has renewed his apology to Femi Gbajabiamila following disagreements linked to the recent All Progressives Congress primary election in Lagos.
During a meeting with Gbajabiamila and other party leaders, Elliot went on his knees and prostrated before the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, asking for forgiveness and seeking to restore their political relationship.

The Surulere Constituency I representative described Gbajabiamila as an important political mentor and acknowledged his influence on his political journey. He further stressed the importance of unity within the party and continued cooperation for the development of Lagos and Nigeria.
Gbajabiamila subsequently asked Elliot to get up, bringing an emotional moment during the meeting.
The latest apology comes after Elliot had previously sought forgiveness publicly, describing any misunderstanding between them as unintentional and expressing his desire to move beyond the disagreement.
