Residents disclosed that the attackers moved through several communities before launching the assault, demonstrating a level of coordination that has continued to alarm local populations and security observers.
Eyewitnesses recounted scenes of panic as gunshots echoed across affected communities, forcing residents to abandon their homes and seek refuge in nearby forests.
